The Malaysia Kyudo Association traces its roots to November 2013 when the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Kyudo Club was established as the country's first Kyudo club. The following year, in 2014, the name "Malaysia Kyudo Association" was adopted to represent our growing community. Since then, we have expanded to encompass three clubs, with the addition of Hokusei-Kan Kyudo Kai and the Wilayah Persekutuan Kyudo Club.
Our association acts as a dedicated platform to unite practitioners, and to promote and grow Kyudo in Malaysia. By bringing our clubs together under a shared purpose, we provide a welcoming home for everyone drawn to the discipline, focus, and beauty of this profound art.
Reflecting the multicultural spirit of Malaysia, we are committed to fostering unity, collaboration, and mutual support among our members. We are proud to have joined the International Kyudo Federation in 2026, connecting our local community to Kyudo practitioners around the world.
