Indonesia Kyudo Federation

The Indonesia Kyudo Federation (IKF), initiated in 2017, was finally established in 2022 as the national organization responsible for the promotion, development, and governance of Kyudo in Indonesia.

Formally accepted by the International Kyudo Federation (IKYF) in February 2026, IKF operates under the guidance and technical framework of the All Nippon Kyudo Federations (ANKF). It promotes internationally recognized standards in training, grading, demonstrations and competition, bringing together Kyudo-ka across the country, and supporting local dojos throughout Indonesia, .

In addition to developing practitioners on both technical improvement and deeper understanding of Kyudo’s philosophy, IKF aims to foster cultural exchange and friendship, strengthening ties between Indonesia and the global Kyudo community. IKF aspires to share the beauty of kyudo with as many people as possible, and is committed to nurturing practitioners at all levels, from beginners discovering the art for the first time to advanced practitioners pursuing lifelong refinement of the art
